Why depression is more common in women?

How to treat depression?

The most commonly used selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, SSRI). Drug therapy gives the best results when combined with psychotherapy. Other frequently used drugs are inhibitors of serotonin reuptake and norepinephrine (SNRI), whose advantage is the lack of decrease in libido.
